Just being able to read does not help.
Being able to understand surely does.
After all, there is a big difference between a literate & an educated.

Urdu is disappearing so fast. I am a perfectionist when it comes to languages and particularly Urdu. In that sense, urdudaaN is a misnomer. I am not an expert, but am rather trying to do things perfectly. I strongly support Urdu being written in other scripts for a wider audience, but.....BUT...

Regrding your requet to know abt ibn e insha ... well i dont know much abt his workd available on-line but otherwise he has written few safar-namay ... plus he used to write columns in newspaper that are also collectively published plus his poetry books ....!
everything i worth reading and he never fails to amuse you yet to think deep on what's going on around you !!!!!!
