Open to Vandalism

Urdu & Muslim culture is open to vandalism, even Muslims take a lion's part in it.
While the progressives have dumped Laxmi and Sircar in favour of Lakshmi and Sarkar, and there is even an H in Hrithik, the attitude of Muslims (and towards Muslims) remains hopelessly orientalistic.

Let's review these instances:

1. I heard two of my non-Muslim colleagues uttering shamelessly "maiN kya urdu meiN bol raha hooN", when someone didn't get what they were saying. [I stopped talking about Marathi movies at all in response to this.]

2. One Mr. Sarosh Khule (second name changed) wrote to a group of Muslims (IT Professionals) about a school. All those Muslim guys recklessly kept referring to him as "Saroch" and "Saroche" in their emails.

3. A Muslim news portal misspelled the name as "Dr. Chisty" instead of "Dr. Chishti". Interestingly, the source they referred in their news [http://www.thenews.com.pk/article-43925-Dr-Chishti-released-from-Indian-jail] had it correct.

4. While referring to people someone named Muhammad Afsar, it is incorrect to refer to him as Muhammad later on in the same passage. He should instead be referred to as Afsar. Not only do non-Muslim media resort to this apathy, Muslim media follow the suit instead of correcting them.
E.g. A Muslim news portal had this:
Zahida Parvez, prime accused in activist Shehla Masood's murder ......
Parvez, an interior designer, was presented before Special Judge ....
Masood was shot dead outside her house ...
